This is so dumb. I can’t believe how dumb it is. Rocco over at I Always Say Stupid Shit has rightly pointed out that this gay reality TV pilot is just about as stupid and stereotypical as could possibly be. The host is kind of hot but simultaneously needs to never open his mouth and even more so should never appear on camera or in any position of pseudo-authority. I hope his bedside manner is better than his cameraside manner. Granted, it’s not entirely his fault: the writers blow.

Ugh.

The stupid show you refer to was just a concept video. It was never intended to air. And while yes, it may have had some stereotypes to it, we were simply trying to do a makeover show, which was a tried and true formula. It was never intended to be other than something for a pitch…there were no writers and the actors were just place holders, but you’ll be happy to know that it did not get picked up.

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me that people actually read my blog. Chuck, we over here at doit, doit now bear you no ill will. While we’re not particularly fond of tried-and-true formulas in general (”No one ever got fired for buying Microsoft!”, “Budweiser, the King of Beers!”) we understand their moneymaking allure. This particular clip was just a little rough to watch. Here’s to hoping your other projects play out better; they certainly sound more interesting.
