I think to myself, "How the FUCK did this guy get to be president?" I've always had faith in the United States...and the thought of it being anything but the greatest place in the world was inconcieveable to me. However, for the first time in my life, I'm doubting this nation. I'm wondering, *is* there going to be a United States in my future, or at least one that is recognizeable to me? What about my family, who is solidly middle-class? I even worry about my own future as a gay man sometimes, and it's absolutely disheartening. My only hope is the people of this nation, who our inept "leader" has "misunderestimated" time and time again, will call this current "administration" on its own bullshit, and try to achieve some balance that has been lost. Ugh...I'm gonna go smoke a bowl now. Every time I see that buffoon on television, I cringe.
